Ann Zimmerman is an award-winning journalist whose 40-year career has focused across the news spectrum, from social issues to business. Most recently she was a retail reporter at The Wall Street Journal, where she spent 14 years covering massive merchants such as Walmart and Best Buy, as well as the toy industry and the biggest breaking news stories of the day. Her work has been anthologized in “Dogfight at the Pentagon,” a 2014 collection of page-one features from the Journal. Her work also has appeared in the Village Voice Media’s Dallas Observer and The Washingtonian magazine. Her proudest achievement is the family she created with husband Michael. She is 65 and proud of it!
