Michele Weldon is an author of six nonfiction books, journalist, emerita faculty at Northwestern University, senior leader with The OpEd Project and editorial director at Take The Lead. Her most recent book is Act Like You’re Having A Good Time. She has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, Narratively, USA Today, Time, CNN, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, NBC Think, Chicago Tribune, Slate, and more. She has appeared on CNN, BBC, NBC, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” NPR and many other outlets. Mother of three grown sons, she is working on a new book of essays and serves on advisory boards of several nonprofits.
